New Practices in Learning Technologies
Project Description
"Building Capacity in Health Informatics for Professionals in Health Settings" is a collaborative project between the University of Victoria, University of Calgary, University of British Columbia and University of Alberta. The project is funded by the Office of Learning Technologies as a New Practices in Learning Technologies (NPLT) Initiative.
In this project, ten Internet-based courses are planned covering such areas as information sources, research design, telehealth evaluation, and team decision-making. The intent is to offer these courses as ongoing professional development and as a multi-institutional graduate education program.
As part of this initiative, the University of Victoria is now offering an online Masters in Health Informatics program. Further information is available in these PDF files:
