About the CHE

The Centre for Health Evidence uses innovation, instruction, and investigation to help health professionals put their best knowledge to work.

Who we are

Research
The Centre for Health Evidence operates under the leadership of leading informatics researchers Drs. Robert Hayward and Bruce Fisher.

Content
Our staff are highly resourceful and creative. They use their skills to ensure all projects meet the needs of the funder. Staff expertise includes library science, information technology, health management, and administration.

Education
The CHE also supports advanced training in evidence-based practice. An Informatics Fellowship, currently held by Dr. Raymond Leung, taps the resources of CHE projects to gain experience in innovation, instruction, and investigation. The CHE also welcomes medical students and residents through co-op placements, and practicum students from both medical and library science schools. We are also open to "externships" for already established practitioners who wish to make a start or refresher in health informatics.
